Colorscript for “Foolhardy Tales: Archibald’s Audition”

I developed a colorscript for my senior capstone project, Foolhardy Tales: Archibald’s Audition. The goal of this exercise was to explore how color, lighting, and composition can support storytelling, emotional pacing, and comedic escalation within the film.

I focused on creating strong visual contrast between magical tension, comedic chaos, and dramatic moments while maintaining the stylized cartoon tone of the project.

This process has been helping me better understand visual storytelling and how color scripts can guide the emotional rhythm of an animated short.
